So in order to learn how the Water Tool in Dash works you can either watch this tutorial 👆 or read the summary of the video 👇 (P.S. The the video is a bit outdated)
Getting Started
The Dash Water Tool for Unreal Engine 5 is really useful if you have a terrain with some hills or a spot between some objects where you want to easily create some water. By typing Water in Dash and pressing Enter you will see that a new plane with a water material was created.

Adjusting the Water Material Settings
Once you have scaled and placed it in the right location it is time to customize the water to your liking! Just select the water and you will see the Material Edit icon (a color palette) in Dash, clicking that will open up the Material Edit panel for this material.

In the Edit Material Panel you will see several settings, some are general material settings that are adjustable regardless of what material you are currently changing in UE5, while others are specific settings for just the water material such as Depth and Speed.

Conclusion
The best way to understand the different Water Material Settings is to try them out and seeing what best suits your liking. And remember that you can type or slide the different values. Holding Ctrl while sliding will make the sliding faster and holding Alt, will make it even faster.

Creating water in UE5 has never been this easy, feel free to try it out yourself with your free trial!
